This knowledge, paired with keen business acumen has made him a highly sought after and very valuable strategic planning resource for clients of all sizes across a wide range of consumer and business-to-business accounts. He has led teams responsible for breakthrough advertising and marketing campaigns for clients in the telecommunications, banking, health care, senior living, insurance, economic development, manufacturing and food science industries.
Aside from his marketing skills, Gary has a great eye for talent and an entrepreneurial spirit and has assembled a strong team, growing Walker from one small client to a firm with multiple and notable regional and national clients.
A recognized thought leader in the field of marketing communications, Gary has shared his insight and expertise in numerous trade articles and as a guest lecturer at several schools of business. A former president of the Business Marketing Association of the Carolinas and a member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, and the American Advertising Federation, Gary also serves on the Catawba College Business Advisory Board and the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County Affiliate, offering his clients guidance on the most advanced levels.
